Imaan Mirza (she/her) is a Schwarzman Scholar from Pakistan (2025). She grew up between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, but originally hail from Lahore, Pakistan. She now calls the suburbs of Indianapolis home.
She is currently completing her degree in History & Literature from Harvard College. Imaan loves to write: she edited non-fiction for the Harvard Advocate, the nation's oldest collegiate literary magazine, and essays for the Culture section of the Harvard Political Review.
Imaan is a Black, Brown, & Queer Studies Undergraduate Research Fellow, as well as a former intern in the Women & Foreign Policy program at the Council on Foreign Relations. She has volunteered at various non-profits serving survivors of domestic violence — between Alaska, New York, and Lahore, Pakistan.
She attended Park Tudor School, a high school in Indianapolis, where she founded a group called Bridges, designed to cultivate interfaith relations in the greater Indianapolis community.
